My name is Elena Fedorenko and I live in Moscow, Russia. I have borzois since 1990. Our first borzoi was
Polonia, a brindle bitch bred by Valentina Lobanova. She passed away when she was
only 3 y.o. of stomach twisture. She was a great personality
and a successful show dog. Unfortunately she wasnТt bred. Brasletka our second borzoi came in 1991. She was bred by Mila and Anatolij Pantelejev and turned out to be best in her litter. She was a borzoi very difficult to fault and a lovely personality too. She is the foundation bitch for my kennel. Now I own 4 borzoi bitches. I have companions: Elena Antonova and Marina Shishmareva. Together we train, show and free-course our borzois. I also patronize some Basandrin borzois owned by other people. I am much involved in borzoi public life. I am a certified show and field trials judge. I am also Board member of the borzoi department with the Moscow HuntersТ Association which has the biggest borzoi club in Russia. In Russian National Borzoi Club I am Chairperson of the control committee. In 2003 I was elected Vice President of Russian Borzoi Club. I also take much interest in Chortais and Stepnois Ц Russian sighthounds not yet recognized by FCI. |
